Herati Sky Blue

Inspired from the city of Herat in Afghanistan and more recently Mongolian and Turkish artisans, these woven designs use aspects of local flora and fauna for inspiration within a geometric bordered framework.

The grey and white traditional antiqued design is overlaid with a crisp blue flow which gives the impression of drifting clouds or an ancient mythical map.
